NHS Suffolk and North East Essex ICB has launched a new women's health app.

The app, developed in conjunction with patients and clinicians, contains advice and guidance on all aspects of female wellbeing, from cervical screening, STIs, pelvic health, and managing the menopause.

Lizzie Mapplebeck, who led on the project for the ICB, said: ‘Knowledge is power, and we want to support women to take control of their wellbeing.

‘The Women's Health app helps us to better understand our bodies, bust myths and learn what NHS health and care options are available to us locally, as well as when to seek help.'

The app can be downloaded via Google Play and the Apple App Store.
