The King's Fund appoints new director of policy, events and partnerships

The King’s Fund has appointed Siva Anandaciva as its new director of policy, events and partnerships.

Anandaciva takes on the role having served as the health and care charity's chief analyst since 2017.

Prior to joining The King's Fund, he held senior analyst roles at NHS Providers and the Department of Health.

Anandaciva is a member of the Office of Health Economics policy committee and the steering group of the BRACE Rapid Evaluation Centre. He will also join Barts Health NHS Trust as an associate non-executive director from January 2025.

The Director of Policy, Events and Partnerships role leads The King's Fund's research, analysis, policy, events, and partnerships functions.

Anandaciva said: ‘I'm looking forward to continuing to work with brilliant colleagues, stakeholders and partners throughout the health and care sector over the coming years.'

Sarah Woolnough, chief executive of The King's Fund, added: ‘Siva has long led The King's Fund's work on NHS funding, finances, productivity and performance, driving national debate through his incisive analysis. He is an authority on health and care and his deep understanding is a huge asset for The King's Fund. Siva will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of Director of Policy, Events and Partnerships.'

Anandaciva is expected to take up the role in the coming months.
