The Living Wage accreditation is awarded by the Living Wage Foundation to organisations that voluntarily pay their employees a wage that is higher than the national minimum wage and is calculated based on the actual cost of living. This commitment extends to all direct employees and third-party contracted staff.

Felicity Cox, chief executive of BLMK ICB, said: 'This accreditation reflects our dedication to valuing our workforce and ensuring that everyone who contributes to our organisation can afford to live with dignity.

'This is a significant step towards promoting fairness and equality within our community.'
